Greenfields Hockey Club are delighted to announce the appointment of John Meyler as Senior Coach for the 2018/2019 season. John has over 10 years coaching experience at club and inter-provincial level and is currently coach of Limerick HC Men’s team and the Over 35’s Irish men’s team. John will concentrate on playing the basics at a high intensity and incorporating everyone’s input to encourage a team effort both on and off the pitch. John bases his hockey around fun and enjoyment of hockey.

The first session will take place on Wednesday 29th August at 8pm in Dangan which will be followed by a pre-season match on Saturday 1st September(further details to follow). John is looking forward to working with the players, management and committee members of Greenfields Hockey Club for the coming season! Welcome on board John!

The Connacht U16 and U18 Interprovincial squads are holding a table quiz in the Westwood Hotel on Thursday 12th of October at 8pm.
